Product Details

Festool - 576954 - Rapid Charger SCA 16

Product Highlights

  • With 16 amps of charging current, the SCA 16 can charge twice as fast as its predecessor. This means that the 8.0 Ah Li-HighPower battery pack is ready for use again in just 27 minutes. Suitable for virtually all battery packs from the 10.8 V, 14.4 V and 18 V classes, whether Li-HighPower Compact battery packs, the handy Ergo packs or all AIRSTREAM variants (with the exception of: BP-XS for CXS/TXS 10.8 V).
  • Battery packs heat up during heavy-duty applications. However, this is now no longer a problem in terms of charging: Thanks to the AIRSTREAM function, the SCA 16 cools the battery pack before and during the charging procedure. In addition, in order to save energy, it is only applied when it is technically necessary and sensible to do so. This way, the maximum possible charging performance for the fastest reuse is always achieved.
  • The Festool charger is also fully covered within the scope of warranty all-inclusive, giving you peace of mind for your day-to-day work. A full repair is completely free of charge in the first three years – this also applies for battery packs and chargers. This allows you to concentrate on what's most important: Your work.

Features and Benefits

  • Ideal in combination with the 8.0 Ah Li-HighPower battery pack: Charged with 16 amps and ready for use again in just 27 minute
  • Faster thanks to AIRSTREAM technology: Cools battery packs before and during the charging procedure, for significantly increased charging capacity and fast reuse. Ideal if the battery pack has been heated up considerably during heavy-duty applications
  • Intelligent cooling function: The active air cooling system only operates to save energy when it is technically necessary and sensible to do so
  • Covers a range of voltage classes: Suitable for all battery packs from the 10.8 V, 14.4 V and 18 V classes (with the exception of: BP-XS for CXS/TXS 10.8 V)
  • Always up to date: LED display shows the remaining battery life and charge status
  • Efficiently stored: The cord holder on the housing and the device for wall mounting keep things tidy
  • Fully covered: Needless to say, the SCA 16 AIRSTREAM rapid charger is also fully covered by Festool SERVICE
